In college, my roommates turned to me for their white russian needs as I had the skill down for making a killer drink. I loved experimenting with flavors of vodka, milk and even the flavors of coffee liquor.
With the holidays in full swing, how appropriate I dress the White Russian in holiday attire. Peppermint coffee liquor brings this holiday cocktail to life. Slightly sweet, velvety and full of peppermint flavor. The rest of the drink is extremely simple. A 1:1 ratio of vodka to Kahula, or coffee liquor. Have fun with this. Experiment with vanilla vodka or even chocolate vodka! Then fill the glass with creamer and milk of choice. While the classic White Russian uses cream, I believe it still tastes pretty darn good with vanilla almond milk.
This white russian drink recipe is the perfect night cap. A splash or heavy handed pour of vodka and kahlua will make just about any night merry and bright!
This White Russian Drink Recipe is a festive, holiday treat! With peppermint, vodka and a touch of milk, it's the perfect post-dinner drink!
