Chili Cheese Burger

Ingredients
Burger
- 1.5 Lbs Ground Beef (2lbs total for recipe) 80% lean / 20% fat
- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Bag Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Chili
- 1/2 Lb Ground Beef
- 1/2 Onion
diced
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
15 oz Canned Tomatoes
8 oz Canned Tomato Sauce
Green Onions diced to top
Vegetable Oil

Chili Topping
Burger

Instructions
- Dice up onion & green onion. Set aside green onion for final topping.
Chili Topping
- Heat some oil in a pan & cook onion until softened.
- Add 1/2 Lb of ground beef & cook until browned.
- Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, tomatoes & tomato sauce. Stir to combine and warm. Set aside.
Burger
- Add chili powder & garlic powder to remaining hamburger and mix. Make 4 patties.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and cook burgers for 1.5 min on first side.
- Flip burgers & top with chili and then cheese. Cook until done (about another minute or 2). Top with a lid to melt cheese.
- Add burger to bun & top with jalapeños & green onions. Enjoy!
